This Spring has been SUPER busy! I spent most of this winter either sick or traveling, it worked out just right that in-between bouts of covid and influenza I got to travel to some awesome photography conventions. Being down and out has left me behind and struggling to get caught up, however, I am feeling a million times better and can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Probably the most exciting news is that at the beginning of March I moved into a studio location smack dab in the middle of downtown Iowa City! I can't wait to finish it off and post a studio tour blog, just waiting on display prints to be printed and hung before the big reveal. In the mean time I'm getting excited to shoot again and want to share another fun session from last summer. Greta's session was on a steamy summer morning but that didn't stop us from creating some amazing images. We started out in a grassy, nature location with a flowing skirt and sun hat outfit. Then we chose to photograph her black dress at Hancher Auditorium before heading into downtown Iowa City for a more urban grunge look. Greta plans to play soccer at college this fall so her last outfit was a Wartburg sweatshirt and soccer ball to celebrate the next chapter in her life. I hope you enjoy getting a peek at Greta's senior pictures in Iowa City.
